B2B Marketing: LinkedIn or Facebook?I know what you’re thinking just by reading the headline of this post: Of course LinkedIn is better for B2B marketing and Facebook for B2C.

But wait, that is not necessarily the case. I have to admit I’m not as active on LinkedIn as I am on Facebook, or even Google+. That’s probably because my focus on this blog is to talk to entrepreneurs and small business.

But when it comes to approach Corporate America, I automatically think I need to get out of these networks and go to LinkedIn. Some of you probably don’t know I’m also a partner at Plural and Partners, a digital agency in Los Angeles and Chile that works with brands and big ad agencies.

How Is Social Media Growing [Infographic]Usually when the media talks about social media growth or when they mention a specific network, they go to the number of users.

We know Facebook has a zillion users, we know that G+ has hit 25 million. While that information is important, it’s like me saying that I have X amount of Twitter followers. In other words, you don’t get much out of it.

The reason I want to share this infographic that Search Engine Journal made public today is because it provides more interesting facts. The cool part will be to take some of that data and see how it can be useful to you. For example, did you know that 75% of brand “likes” are coming from advertisements? or that the growth of mobile access to Facebook from 2010 to 2011 is 200%.
