A Look Inside The Future Of Facebook [A Timeline Infographic]

The future of Facebook, a visual story of what the blue giant could become in the next 13 years is creatively turned into its own Timeline.

Some very interesting and probable predictions, others a little more out there, but for sure a fun infographic designed by the guys at Ph. Creative.

Facebook 2012 - 2025 Timeline

I specially like the idea of “Facebook Search” because it’s an aspect I believe represents the weakest link for the network.

Enjoy the 13-year ride on a Timeline infographic.

That’s some interesting forecasting to the say the least.  I’m pretty excited to see where Facebook, and the entire social media industry, will go over the next decade.  Seems it can only go up from here.

Interesting post, Francisco. Imagine, Facebook nation and government. You have done well because I have trouble looking at the changes one year from now.

    Maybe try this first:

    1. Subtract 20 years from each date.
    2. Substitute all instances of the word “Facebook” with “AOL”
    3. Compare results to reality.

This is a 13 year projection from what we know in 2012. What this projection doesn’t include is what we’ll come to know in the next 13 years, which is quite a bit.

For instance, the internet in 1999 looks a lot different from 2012. I’d like to see what someone’s prediction of 2012 would look like back in 1999.Interesting infographic though!
