What Is Your Biggest Struggle In Blogging? [Poll]

I recently started asking my clients what are the main struggles when maintaining a blog. What really got my attention was the wide variety of answers I got when I was expecting a common response.

So I thought it would be interesting to ask you. Participate by voting in the poll and giving us your opinion in the comment section.

Happy blogging.

  • My biggest issue is finding the time to blog.

Sometimes I think where my blog would be right now if I kept a 3 post a week schedule instead of a one post a week.

It causes some pain in my but..lol

  • Couldn't agree with you more John, that's the difference with being a full-time blogger or blogging for business. I got involved in a couple of big projects that are affecting the time I had to create content…

    Thanks for stopping by buddy!

  • Yea that is my problem too.. to many things online all at once. But things will work themselves out.. always do.

Anytime..always something new to learn when I visit.

  • My biggest issue right now is trying to focus on a niche topic within a broad topic of small business. I am a small business coach and what I am really good at is working with a client and helping them solve problems quickly by identifying the critical path they need to focus on to move forward regardless of what business they are in. Trying to find a specific topic around my expertise is what I am having difficulty in clarifying in my head and that will be engaging enough for small business owners. They are my target audience and I want them to call me when they have a problem no matter what it is. I think once I figure that out everything else will fall into place.

  • Frequency disfunction. I'll have some ideas and jot them down in my journal, bang them out on a Word doc that would be incoherent to anyone else but not spending a few minutes (just a few) often enough to put them into something cohesive and post.

    Just one more thing…

  • I guess I'd love t see more people comment!!

People I know tell me what they think 'live'. Some people comment on the link I put on Facebook.

But few on the blog (well, except for spammers!).

I really like blogs where the comments evolve into a dialogue… like this one!

  • I think writing style for me, i am full of SEO niche knowledge and also express in few blogs of mine but always concerned with writing style

  • The hardest thing for me is, traffic. How do you get the traffic to your sites?

  • Memphis Design Guy

That's my problem, too: Finding the time, or more specifically, making my blog a priority. Running a business, taking care of clients, always seems to be more “important”. But if I'm honest with myself, I'd get better projects (and better clients) if I made my blog a higher priority. Thanks for the inspiration and the camaraderie.

For me most difficult thing is keeping your content safe. People copy your content like any thing.
